I have seen a lot of big plays and deep balls. I would like to see some of the short passing game.
I too am slightly concerned about the number of big plays, but then again we have only seen short clips so far, I wish JRob over at IGN would get off his *** and put up some play of the day videos like the past few years of an entire game being played out.

New Jerseys in game = good
Having Ohio State with, what appears, a white facemask = bad

Re: 6/26/06-New screens and movies

I can't help but be negative...

I noticed the following:

On the long pass, the QB throwing motion looks like he's throwing a bullet over the middle, but the ball takes off out of his hand like it is propelled by some mysterious force. Of course it was easy to see in the slo-mo replay.

On the run where ND flattens the guy, a pulling guard totally misses the block and runs right by the defender.

On the long TD pass, the defensive back AI is atrocious. The safety had no idea what to do or how to defend the pass. He didn't even make a play on the ball.

Other than that, COOL BEANS!

Dude, watch a play like that in 06 or before. You used to have to wait for the entire animation to finish and any player who touched the animations forcefield was knocked down. This added up to long runs as the entire defense would collapse around this player, but if he broke a tackle he could have nothing in front of him.

there is no way these videos are being played on heisman or even aa...period...they are trying to showcase big plays.... i have seen videos where db's are breaking on the ball and breaking up plays....we shouldn't look into these videos too much....just enjoy the fact that the gameplay looks smooth as butter...
