I'd take your word over anyone else's here because you've played the PS2 version. That doesn't sound good.

EDIT: I only have a PS2...maybe that does sound good

Is it safe to say you like the PS2 version better?

i hate to say this, but damn i am so dissapointed. i've played the ps2 versions for the past 5 years and this doesn't feel anywhere near as smooth as any of the ps2 titles. i might have to get a refund on my preorder.

King of all football games? They seized the industry with exclusive licenses, not with game-development talent.

I'm at 84%. This game better be good or we're doomed for another year with no football gaming. The only football I play now is Winning Eleven 9 (BC).

Sadly enough, yes. So many little things about the current-gen gameplay far outweigh the f***** zoom/pan of the Florida Field press box 1,000x a game.

The only next-gen sports games I've dug thus far have been NBA 2k6, CH 2k and Fight Night. What the hell do we have to do to get a good football game.
