First off, how far do onside kicks have to go? I always thought it was 10 yards but I was obviously wrong because whenever the CPU kicks one, it rarely goes 10 yards but I see no laundry thrown out from the refs. And 2nd...half the time the CPU shouldn't be attempting an onside kick anyway because whenever it does the team is down by about 40 points but I guess there's just a lot of fight and confidence left in those boys. I have the ps2 version BTW.

well if the receiving team touches the ball first before it goes 10 yards, then I'm pretty sure refs don't flag it in real life

now if you're saying that in the game, the CPU touches their onside kicks first before 10 yards and there's no penalty, then it's gotta be some bug

I have yet to kick a succesful onside kick.

It is a bug and i'm sure is being exploited online. There better be a patch released to fix this.

I've recovered 2 of the 3 onside kicks I have tried. Each time, it hit the other team first and bounced towards my team who then recovered (I still lost the game though).

10 yards is the rule unless it touches an opponent first.

They really screwed the pooch on this one. Yesterday I CPU kicked the ball 5 yards and recovered, no one from my team touched it. It is inexcusable this got through Beta.
