Re: Conference Invite?

From what I have read here, you might have a better chance as an independant of getting the invite.

Re: Conference Invite?

i play a dynasty with air force and went 9-4 the first year and 9-4 the second going to a bowl game both years and was invited to the Big 12 to replace baylor. i didnt play a single big 12 team in either year.

i declined it though, didnt feel like i was ready to move up to a better conference if i couldnt even win the mountain west.(damn TCU)
although my 3rd season looks great so far im 7-0 and ranked #23 and was finally able to beat TCU after 3 OTs.

Re: Conference Invite?

Playing as my beloved Louisville Cardinals, after my second year I got an invite to replace Kentucky in the SEC. I turned it down, because I have my scheduling of non-conference games the way I like it and need all 5 non-conference games to make it fit. Besides, I like playing in the Big East.

Re: Conference Invite?

When you get an invite to replace a team, does the team your replacing go to your conference? Or they do become an independent?

Re: Conference Invite?

In my 3rd year with NIU i got invited to the Big Ten after I went undeafted. They booted Indiana, who is now a powerhouse in the MAC with Thigpen and Hardy domianting in the MAC. I am also a powerhouse in the Big Ten going undeafted(idk how) alot of close games and i made it to the NC beating 12-1 Oklahoma who was a b+, like me...looks like the years after Garrett Wolfe will be okay for the Huskies(atleast in my dynasty)

Using created coaches at the end of the season, I got UCF into the SEC and Colorado State into the Big 12.
