It really makes no difference who ea puts on the cover. Everyone knows what ncaa 08 is and ea is the only company putting out a college football game.

No they didn't. Utah was the first non-BCS team to play in a BCS bowl, BSU last year was the second.

I don't think this is about Zabransky so much as capitalizing on Boise State's win in the Fiesta Bowl which people were talking about for days and weeks afterwards. The Broncos are America's team now, at least for the moment, and that didn't escape the notice of EA's marketing department. Ian Johnson would've been the ideal choice but since he's still in school it had to be Zabransky.
