PS3.. 20G or 60G

I am looking into investing in a PS3.. BUT I need some good knowledge.. Do I really need a 60G hard drive? That just sounds like an awful lot of memory for a playstation. BUT, I also need to know like in NCAA football, how much memory does a like dynasty save take up? If somebody could help me out with this info, it would be greatly appreciated.. Also, is the hard drive the only difference in the 2 PS3's?

No one knows how much space a dynasty takes up because this is the first NCAA Football game to come out on PS3.

And I read yesterday that Sony has decided to stop making the 20-gigs because the 60s were outselling them 10 to 1. So if that's what you really want, you better hurry up and get it because pretty soon a 60-gig is all you will be able to get.

20GB will be MORE than enough... I have several saved games, downloaded demos and trailers and have only used around 3-4GB. I imagine the game saves will be under 64MB simply because thats the smallest memory card that the 360 uses.

As mentioned though, Sony is no longer producing 20GB versions for North America... there may still be some out there in stores but you better get cracking.

As for the differences... the 60 has wifi and flash memory readers which the 20 doesn't but they can be added on later with off the shelf devices.

you're already spending $500 for 20 gbs, so may as well spend $100 more on 40 more gbs.

not really. $100 for 40 GB extra is a rip-off. Also u can replace ur PS3 HDD. So u could buy a 20 GB one and then take out the HDD and add a 300 GB HDD.

basically if u want to use wireless internet with ur PS3 then u need the 60 GB one.

I wouldn't recommend buying any model of a product that is being discontinued, if only because it might make warranty-related replacements difficult.

Hey, I appreciate all the feedback, very good information... 1 more question I forgot to ask.. Does it work fine with just a regular TV or do you HAVE to have a HDTV??
