Swat the ball

So does this button even work? I know a lot of times I will push it and I get nothing. Anyone else having trouble?

I mapped it to the R bumper (or whatever that button is called on 360) because I figured it would be easier if I was hitting speed burst then to push A, still no luck though.

yup i have noticed this too....


Of course past years it has been WAY over done, as I could knockdown anything...

But now I get nothing....

You can actually hold the swat button down the whole time the ball is in the air and just move your player into position. Then he will swat at the appropriate time. Makes it a lot easier.

Depends on how close the ball is to you.

This would be good for those who have great control of players after the ball is thrown. Its better to wait until your guy is in position, click on, then swat. Timing is everything.

Tru...see I would do that in years past, if I saw my corner was beat , I would switch to him and sometimes be able to make a play on the ball. Now I am afriad to because I can't get the swat button to work.

The Y button also makes a play on the ball. I find myself always trying to get the pick and it still gives me the swat function.

Well, if the Y works the same, that's good to know then. Sometimes that doesn't seem to work either though.

Yea its mapped to the DB'S awareness..You can just move him in position and he will swat it down....Or you can press the interception button and thee you go.
