Now that it has begun

Watching the first games of D1 football last night forced me to throw the game in immediately after it was over. I had almost burnt myself out on it already and now that the real deal is going again so am I!

Agreed. I will play this game for the next couple months until 2k College Hoops comes out...then will split time between football, basketball, Halo 3, and Grand Theft Auto IV when those all come out.

I'm on week 4 of my dynasty. I've been playing 1 to 3 games a day. I play rivalry games or games that look like decent matchup or even a mercy killing on my behalf just to try to sharpen up my coaching skills. Anyway, I've been going literally nonstop since day one(except for a week off to move from Cali. to Arkansas) and have no plans of letting off. It will probably take me a month to play all the bowl games at the end of the year

It's nice to know I'm not the only one who plays various interesting matchups throughout the year. I figure, what's the point of rushing through my dynasty?

it was a new thing last year but it was so successfull that i am bringing it back this year. i play one season but not waste time recruiting. i will play all games between top 25 teams using thier playbooks (UT @ Cal this week) plus a few marquee games that don't involve top 25s (FSU @ Clem, etc.) (i play both offenses so they are usually great seesaw games.) this way i get to play at least a few games with all the great teams.

It's a great immersion tactic, too. Limiting yourself to your own games make the experience rather linear and pointless to a degree. Playing the other games breaths a lot more life into a given season.

What I tend to do is play every game that I'd watch in real life. So that means, usually, three games per week. If I play at noon, for example, I'll also play the best 3:30 game and the best night game of that week.

Yeah, and apparently the turnovers aren't really an issue either. I'm watching the Penn St./Fla Int. game right now through the first quarter, there has been 5 fumbles and 3 turnovers combined. LOL!!!!
