Lost to Nebraska 27-17...but beat Texas in their house 34-27. They ran back a kickoff in the 4th for a TD to go up 27-20...but then I ran back an interception for a TD, then scored late on a play action crossing route to my TE who broke a tackle and rumbled for 82 yards for the winning TD.

Now I play Nebraska again in the Big 12 Championship. All the headlines for the ESPN site say Nebraska/Texas A&M Meet Again!

I've never slowed down with this game. I played Madden for about 2 hours the day it came out other than that its been all NCAA. I also change my playbook every few years, I do this on offense and have changed defense a few times as well. I won the NC at Wyoming after a few years of getting snubbed but lost a great senior class and am off to a 1-3 start this year. We won at FSU opening night but dropped 3 straight to Notre Dame, USC and Miami. I've been a 6* program for 3 years now and still haven't gotten a BCS conference invite.

Still loving this game! Once in a while I have a crazy turnover game but it's maybe once or twice a season.

I'm with you. I have a PS2, PS3, and Xbox 360 and hardly ever touch my PS3 or 360. It's ashame that I paid that much for those things and still am playing the hell out of my PS2. For some reason the next generation versions of this game are lifeless and lack the "fun factor" the PS2 version has.

After about a month hiatus due to APF, I watched a college game, looked over at 08 and popped it in. Used The Slider god's sliders, and enjoyed the hell out of it.

I tried to play Madden, but I went back to this game. I've started working on the 1 to 6 star achievement, and its been a lot of fun. I'm not having too many turnover issues.

i honestly think 2008 for 360 is the best NCAA i have played, not just in graphics, but overall gameplay/dynasty and i have been playing since the 1998 game. the only thing i miss is the create-a-school feature(love creating a cupcake team and bringing them up), ability to create your own playbook, and from NCAA 2001(i think) the ability to create your own plays.

turnovers are not an issue with me. only a few games get over 4 total.
fumbles happen more often than INTs but 80% of those get overturn on a review. (even when using the cover ball button)

the depth chart is annoying but with some time you can get around most of the problems.
