Okay, so there is a fumble right away on the kickoff but after the recovery why does #10 for the gators, who had a clear tackle from behind to save a touchdown, turn and run the opposite direction out of the camera view? He should of continued chasing the ball carrier to say the least.

Notice in the replay the reason he turned and did a 180 degree spin was so that he could go engage another oklahoma player.

Does this make sense?

Well, apparently it will be that easy on NCAA Football 10 with the game plan settings put on aggressive. That might be another potentially major issue with the game if the fumbling is that frequent in most games played.

That player was actually being user controlled

Yep. Sometimes, I wish the User controlled teams had a little AI.

I think they should make you control the snap on field goals and punts. In real life, at least half of the time, when a punt or FG goes bad it's because of a poor snap. They need to incorporate this into the game. Also, I wish they would take away the alignment arrow and corresponding line on the kick meter on the AA and Heisman difficulties.

So, the way it would work is you would first pull straight back on either the left or right stick to snap the ball. Depending on how accurate (or inaccurate for that matter) you were the snap might be high, low, to the side, or possibly even wide of the holder. Bad snaps would result in decreased accuracy. As soon as you completed the snap, you'd use the right stick to kick the ball like normal (keep in mind, you wouldn't have the alignment arrow, or anything else telling you how far left or right to kick the ball.) This system would incorporate the opportunity for a bad snap (without it being a random thing decided by the CPU), it would make kickers kick the ball more slowly (increasing the chance of getting the kick blocked, especially on longer field goals), and it would make kicking much more about "feel" due to the lack of the alignment arrow and kick meter line.

I know this is a little off topic for this thread, but since some others had brought up field goals being too easy, I thought I'd share my idea.

To add to the fg's being too easy ... they could implement something that is similar to the onside kick meter. The kicker (no pun intended) is that you line up the crosshair on the ball to try and direct the ball into the posts. Just a thought. It would be better than the system they have right now ... that's for sure.

I do that sometimes to. Since you are already holding up the abrupt turnaround can throw you off. It happens to the best of us. lol
