Gotta feel good that every year though, no matter the crap you guys ever take on the forums, people go frantic to find this game early.

No matter the game, it's truly one of the things I look forward to every year. Reading the stories, and going crazy trying to find it.

Obviously they cant allow everyone to do it. But on a smaller level, maybe turn there heads to the little stores who dont care about the street date.

Think about the hype it creates. for me, up until today i had little interest in buying the game, now im thinking about driving and hour away to get it early

There are some, but they seem to be few and far between these days. I've heard people say they found video games at comic book stores, music stores and occasionaly even (the extremely hard-to-find) non-chain video stores.

Note that this largely hearsay--I haven't seen any such stores here in Houston in at least 4-5 years.
