Well, from these results, the cpu can run the ball and run it well. My hb ran for 73 yds on 18 carries, thats a 4.0 avg, not to bad. I didnt see many broken tackles with the tackle slider at 0.

I just played the greatest coach mode game ever. It was Clemson vs Michigan State(me). The final score was Clemson 40 Michigan State 30. This game saw everything, huge runs, costly ints, crucial late game 3rd down conversions, etc., it was capped off by the Clemson hb running the ball 95 yds to pretty much win the game.

I used the same setup as the last game.

i'm just really getting started but i find my backs have more success when i player lock on the qb on running plays than when i just snap the ball and let it go. i'm coach uva (me) @ fsu and hb #5 for me just busted a 66 yd run out to the 2 yd line.

You should be able to change it in-game. I am pretty sure I was able to do it. Like someone said previously, it is under game controls. Just trying to help....

Just a side note, but initially I am not sure that I like auto-pass turned on. I think I like a little control over some part of the game.

I have turned on the auto throw but after the snap the QB will stand there and not move and then get sacked? Do I need to change the sliders or and I doing something wrong?

Make sure you aren't moving the QB after you hike the ball if you do he'll stand there till you move him again.

Guys, I like this thread and I played my first coach mode game myself.
Was a blast! I am a coach myself so I knew this would interest me lol

I have several questions if you guys don't mind helping me out since this is all new to me.

1. Do you make adjustments offensively and defensively? hot routes,
flipping the play, audibles? or do you just call the play and leave everything as is?

2. You have to punt and do all the field goals etc... correct?

3. I snap the ball when on offense with the team I am playing with,
and the computer snaps the ball when he or she or it lol! has the ball correct?

finally, what about punt and kick returns. I have to make sure that I get him to the ball if you know what I mean otherwise it will fall short or go over his head or he may make a bad decision of trying to catch the nall in the end zone on a punt lol! right?
