But historically they have been a good program and Michigan and Notre Dame are still 6 stars in NCAA 10.
Michigan and Notre Dame deserve 6 stars.

Coming from a U of M fan who hates Notre Dame more than Ohio State.

And Tennessee isn't in their historical league yet. Like I said, 4 stars is ideal. 5 is acceptable.

Not the way the game calculates stars they don't. I know the history of the teams, and yes in real life they are 6 star programs without a doubt, but the game also reduces your star rating based on recent performance. Tenn had been six stars as well. Just like the stars rating can go up with one good year it can go down in the game as well.

Probably 5* this year. I know theyve been 6* in at least the past 3 games but after going 5-7 last season they probably lost a star.

I know how it calculates the stars in game. BUT, their starting stars have a lot to do with history. Then it all goes by what you do in game.

Exactly. The initial star ratings are set by the dev team. It is a fun meeting to be in; gets pretty heated!

I'd say at least 5* for sure, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were a 6*. One losing season should not drop them to a four star. I also say this because Texas A&M has been a 5* team for years now despite their mediocrity (BTW, I wouldn't be surprised if the Aggies dropped to a 4* this year).
