Why is FSU rated so high?

its a comment that everyone makes, its not a cane, gator, or whatever thing. and the guy on the first page was referring to the canes vs gators game last year which a lot of florida fans use to mock randy shannon for essentially commenting that meyer running up the score will help miami more than he ever knows. of course he got the facts completely wrong. it was 23-3 with less than 2 minutes in the 4th quarter with florida having a 1st and 10 at the miami 16, they threw two passes including one into the endzone on their first two plays then kicked a field goal with 25 seconds left. florida state annually gets rated like a top 10 team on the game, everyone expects it at this point.

I beat them, at FSU, with Maryland 24-10.
The score doesn't really reflect how badly I beat them

I.E. Florida A+'s across the board. So, is EA saying they are the perfect team? I know they are a phenomenal team, don't get me wrong, this coming from a 'Bama fan. Tebow is amazing, as is the entire team. But all A+'s. Hm....
