I loaded the rosters I had and went in and they stuck. I don't know what I did. I can check it cause my Xbox bricked on me

(This was how you had to do it in 09, not 100% sure for 10)

First you create your guy as usual and progress through the HS playoffs. After signing with a team, you will need to write down all of your ratings for your player. Back out of the RTG and load up your named rosters. Go to create a player, and make yourself with the ratings you wrote down. Place yourself on the team you want and save the roster. Finally go back to RTG and choose use existing player. Select your guy and begin.

This is the workaround in steps:

You play your High School Playoffs
After it's over, pick the school you want to go to
Write down your ratings
Exit, load your custom rosters(with the names)
Create your player on that team
Go to Campus Legend
Start new CL with Existing Player
Pick your player
Then say no, when it asks you about the name's
Then every player has there names
