Looking for Playbook Suggestions

I am using Ok St.'s playbook and like it but always like to mix things up once in awhile.

I like Okst.'s book because it has a good variety of shotgun plays but still a few Ace, I, and strong sets. I don't run well out of the shotgun so I like a playbook with some I, Ace, Wek and strong plays mixed in.

Are any of you using/finding similar books and if so which ones? Thanks for the help, I tried looking through the VG playbook download but it takes sooooo long, figured some people here could be more help.

Re: Looking for Playbook Suggestions

I play with Run Balanced in my OD, but Nebraska's playbook is actually pretty darn good compared to last year.. Only problem is in your Shotgun- Split back set, your Slot receiver is your TE... Dont know why they make the TE as your slot but oh well, still a pretty solid playbook if you like lots of Ace, Lots of I and mix up of shotgun...

Take a look at Cal and Ole Miss. Great balance in both, but Cal's got a bit more offset I stuff and Ole Miss has more traditional I stuff and the wildcat.

Cool.

I like having a few to play through. I get a little bored with one playbook as I play through Dynasty mode.

Re: Looking for Playbook Suggestions

I'll have to check out Cal and Ole Miss. I've been using South Carolina and Ohio State's playbooks. South Carolina has maybe 6 shotgun sets, 4 or 5 ace, 2 I form, 1 split backs, and 1 or 2 strong I. Ohio State has 5 shotguns, 1 pistol formation (it's called pony in their PB), 6 ace, and 6 I form.

I'm sure one of your packages must be to have 3 wideouts. Can't you just change the package?

You can change the package to 3 wideouts, but it's nice having a TE in the slot sometimes, especially a quick one, because the defense won't bring out the nickel back.
