2 weeks after release. How have your impressions changed?

Now that the initial excitement of finally having a football game to play has worn off. What are your true impressions of the game now. Are they different or the same?

Different. I play a lot of online games and in the first week there were not as many cheesers. Now that's all I find.

Plus, the mechanics seem to change when I play online. Run blocking is pathetic compared to the offline counterpart. Commits are overused and overpowerful (and the risk/reward isn't that bad when you choose incorrectly).

Re: 2 weeks after release. How have your impressions changed?

Honestly... I AM BORED!!! I hate to say this because I love college football and ps2 last gen football. However, there is no excitement or atmosphere in this game that makes me want to pick it up and keep playing. I am now in the third season of my dynasty and I feel like there is no reason to play. I just beat the #7, #4 and #2 ranked teams and the stadiums had no excitement, no emotion, no passion..... nothing. It's really sad as this series used to have absolutely amazing presentation and atmosphere. My QB is in the running for the Heisman this year but who cares... there is no ceremony anyways I enjoy the gameplay but I am having difficulty finding reasons to play. That is a really sad comment considering NCAA is my fave video game series...

The game was bad the first time I plugged into the console. It gets worse everyday.

I like the stadiums.
I like the passing game.
Recruiting has a good system.
I don't play OD but I hear it's good.
At the end of the day, I'm happy I'm playing college football.

I loved it then and I still love it now.

I am in a bit of a "No Man's Land" now, though, because I am sorta waiting for updated rosters and the second patch before heavy dynasty play can begin.

Best since 2004. I love the game. It's not perfect, but I'm very satisfied with it.

I like it more now than initially. The only complaint I have is I wish I could get the CPU QB to take a sack instead of always throwing an interception or incompletion when under pressure. Next year they will up the presentation like Madden did this year and we will have a great game.
