This. We've been begging for team intro's since '06. I think the added bands were a waste of time and as you said, that doesn't get me or anyone amped up to play some college football.

I expect the espn presentation to be more then stat overlays and graphics. I would think they would do it like ncaa bball '10 with starting lineups, pre game warmups and post game celebrations etc.

I think bands in the stands would be a great addition. Maybe after a touchdown every once in awhile show the band celebrating (they do on TV alot) or at least just present near the endzone (eye candy in the redzone I guess). It'll take away from just generic people back their with all the same color on.

You could remove them from pregame completely. Maybe after a huge upset, CCG win, or National Championship win have team captains/coaches leading the band in the school fight song. A full cutscene with maybe the words scrolling across the bottom or game stats.
