I think his post stands right beside the point, but misses the point entirely. The fact that you'd have to pause the game and go into the menu and select a replay, disrupts the flow. That was part of the reason developers started adding auto-replays, so that it would all be seamless and keep the flow going.

You know what the other reason was? Because that's what happens on TV. A play happens, a broadcast angle replay follows not long after. Creative spin is an avenue that makes little sense for them to be taking here, not just because it lacks authenticity, but also because they never even accomplished getting actual broadcast camera's right to begin with. How about we get it right first before we start taking artistic liberties? I think that's a fair and reasonable request.

At least if they're going to do this sort of thing, they could give some options to the user. But for whatever reason they don't get it... they don't get that not everybody wants their creative spin on presentation. Public opinion of it has never been strong from the very beginning, while other dev teams (see MLB The Show, NFL 2K, NBA 2K) enjoy a high public opinion of their presentation because those teams are doing proper broadcast and not trying to do some "WOWEE! WAY COOL!" rendition. I think that's the thing that baffles me about gamers who defend this debacle more than anything. They defend it as if these other games that have gone down in history for having the best presentation of all time never existed... as if Tiburon is working on some unknown territory and we should be supportive of it. I can't support that when there are other games providing absolute visual and technical excellence that parallels the real thing in this area, while NCAA and Madden remain behind.

I guarantee, in 10-20 years very few if any people will look back and name the presentation of any Tiburon football games in the same class as MLB The Show, 2K Football or 2K Basketball. How could they? The presentation in Tiburon football games is nowhere near the same class as those games.
