Re: Recruiting Tips?

I'm starting to become a big believer in finding out the levels before getting too aggressive.

Re: Recruiting Tips?

I have a dynasty with EMU and man is it tough. I also have a lot of holes to fill, but I am sticking to Michigan for finding recruits. I have had a couple battles with WMU and CMU. Something also I have found is looking for recruits that are interested in larger schools, but have not been contacted by them. An example of this is I found a 3*WR that no one had contacted, and was in Michigan. I called him spent an hour, offered him a scholarship, a couple promises and the next week I checked I was his number 1, and the week before he wasn't interested at all. I am following this to see if I am able to land him. If I do I think this is a great strategy.

Re: Recruiting Tips?

Okay i just started my first dynasty after getting roster names with Miami. I chose the top players who were interested that fulfilled my needs at FB, SS, P. Those 4 four guys are my top 4 prospects. the next 6 guys are all the highest recruits who are #1 interested in my school. I spend 1 hr on these 10 guys and only offer instantly to the ones who im #1 with. In the first week i got two commits. Now i am starting the game for this week.

My question is this: Every week do i still need to talk to the players who have committed or can i replaced them with more interested players...will they back out of the their commit? They both are hard commits as well...thnx

Re: Recruiting Tips?

in my dynasty wit LSU, in finished ranked 7th. which is ok. but the players were average. two 5*, four 4*s and fifteen 3*s. its hard. i started wrong also cause i filled my board up thinkin it was similar to last yrs so i ended up gettin alot of 3*
its hard. other school put in 60 minutes per week on most of their players so i gotta put in the same if i want that player

Aaah okay.

Once a player is a hard commitment you no longer have to spend time on him. If he's a soft commitment I still talk to him.

I wish they would incorporate a recruit changing his mind even with a hard commit on Signing Day. Of course this would be a small chance (ie .0005) but it does happen IRL. I read all over the net (Aggie and Sooner sites) how Corey "Mr. Aggie" Nelson was heading to A&M and on Signing Day he picked OU. Imagine the disgust if "you" saw one of your top recruits go to your rival or stay in their home state.
