Anyone else thing Ranked matches are horrible??

If you want to stop the quarter's d with the MLB shadowing the QB, then press lt and put up on the left stick. This tells the OL to play aggressive and they will shoot up and actively look for blockers. Then just run a draw play up the middle. Simple as that.

Yeah online play really highlights how messed up the outside run game is with default AA sliders. The worst is when I see people bring their entire D up to stop the run, then all 11 men get sucked inside while the HB sprints untouched into the endzone.

The only way to really stop these plays is to manually control LBs and either get the tackle or force them to cut it back inside.

I just played a guy using florida and he would use goaline and put demps at QB and run the option every play. It was not fun.

Online sucks anyway on account of the lag. It makes the kicking game really hard to judge, as well as trying to run in between the tackles. Only satisfying online play is online dynasty...seeing as I use Florida in OD and have 2 out of my 3 games online, its pretty damn hard to get a good running game, with not only the spread running game being hard to do in this game already, but add to that my RB reacts to my moves half a second too late (and often into blockers or defenders) passing is what wins me games.

I don't even bother playing ranked matches after putting up with the last 3 years of Madden cheese. The majority of ranked match gamers are not interested in competing with you. They are interested in destroying you and advancing up the leaderboards, regardless of if they are cheating or not. Save yourself the stress and play with people on your friends list.

Also, most of the quick ranked crowd, are lazy, ADD types.

They view a sports game no different then they would view a FPS, or a fighting game.

Look for the path of least resistance and exploit it.

I guarantee you if you played these clowns in a game like Modern Warfare II, they're the kind of guys hiding out on the corner of the map 'boosting', or camping in a spot with a grenade launcher, while their teammates do the heavy lifting.
