Gamestop makes significantly more money selling used games versus new. Moreover, they get a lot of people selling used copies of the previous year's game just as the new one comes out so they're over stocked. They're probably told to push used copies in generally, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were told specifically to push old sports game really hard.

Generally speaking, I don't take gamestop employee's word on games.

mr_president - wow man, I don't even know what to say to your comment about you don't notice much gameplay change. It's the single biggest change from one year to the next gameplay-wise I ever recall any EA football game having. As I said, I've played about 30 games and I'm still seeing new animations and things in the gameplay that make me go "WOW-did you see THAT???".

As Skyboxer said, it's not readily apparent until you put some time into playing. There are no big flashy changes, they are all about solid gameplay changes. But again, as Skyboxer said, to each his own!

The gameplay IS top notch and while there are issues...what game doesn;'t have issues.

I can't put NCAA11 down. Then again I don't go looking for issues so I can have an excuse to post "look at me" threads.

The game is football, it's fun, period.

Comparing NCAA11 to NCAA10 is like comparing Jessica Alba to Rosie O'Donnell....
This post is the truth and its FUNNY AS H3LL!!!

Pogo27 - wow, that's the best point I've seen made yet, never thought of that. That makes total sense as to why they'd be pushing old sports games. I'll bet this is going to be a common thing with them going forward, especially now that they are angry at EA for that online pass stuff... Great post.

NCAA Football 11 is much better in all aspects

gameplay
presentation
sliders
graphics/visuals
120 ways to win, while it's not that exciting, it's nice seeing so many teams with different offenses and being able to find which teams runs similar styles.

Plus updated rosters as well

I don't either, i usually buy a game used when i can so that if i don't like it i return it. My local gamestop people recognize me because im there all the time now and never give me crap when i bring games back.

Yeah with a game like NCAA 10, they'll give you like $8 trade in, turn around and sell it for $24 or w/e its going for right now.

Like that guy stated, they have to try and move some inventory.

There's 2-3 guys at my gamestop who actually know their stuff, others i just think work there.

Please return NCAA 10....Im a diehard NCAA fan and I couldnt play 10 because of how poor i thought the gameplay was.

NCAA 11 has brought me back to the series and im very happy with the game overall(it has minor issues).

For me NCAA 10 was like playing football on skates...just terrible!

You'll be very happy with buying NCAA 11 after you played 10 for a little bit.
