I used the wrong term. Get chop blocking and clipping mixed up. But yeah clipping from behind is illegal anywhere, as was any block below the knees (chop block) except on the LoS. Edited the post

I'm really surprised at the number of people who didn't know this. Like someone said earlier, I'm actually shocked EA actually got this right.

FTR, the NFL's rule is the exact same on this issue.

I don't know why, but the video game will call a clipping penalty on block-in-the-back infractions.
