I play against Alabama and Trent Richardson sits on the sidelines...
that's crazy....
it's the same thing with V-Tech, Darren Evans never sees the field
there needs to be something like a percent of snaps for each position so i could change alabama's running backs to like...
Mark Ingram 60%
Trent Richardson 40%

It's not the first time and won't be the last time.

In 2006/2007 Felix Jones could have been the starting running back for about 119 D1 FBS teams. He was on the 120th team that had Darren McFadden. He got plenty of carries at Arkansas, but in the game, not necessarily.

He's now going into his third season as a pro, and after seeing a handful of touches as the back-up and 3rd down back (behind another great RB, Marion Barber), the Dallas Cowboys have announced him as their starting running back for the 2010 NFL season.

I wonder if they'll still have him returning kicks...

I have played Bama many times with my Gators and have noticed that in maybe a dozen games I have seen Richardson carry the ball 3-4 times total.

If anything, maybe it's related to the fact that even run-first teams seem to be too pass-heavy.

Also, NCAA lacks the 3rd down back depth chart spot, which would certainly at least get the back up RB in on 3rd downs... but I have a feeling that would then mean we're seeing back ups we don't necessarily need to see just because it's third down.

I think that maybe the CPU teams should just have some programming that looks at the difference between the two RBs. If it's relatively small, they should be receiving closer to equal carries. Whether that means they take turns on drives, or maybe 3 plays for one, 2 for the other, or by whatever method... I always alternate my backs pretty heavily. The CPU should do the same, especially when the back-up is quite good too.

have you tried messing around with your auto-sub sliders? The sub-out levels are very low, if you adjust them up, you should see the 2nd RB quite a bit.

He's talking about playing against Bama, not as Bama. Unless I completely misunderstand how the auto-sub sliders work.
