more realistic promises would be nice. for instance stuff like changing national championship 1st year on campus to something like will contend for a national championship in first 3 years etc.

In all seriousness though, this game REALLY needs an AD mode, complete with the coaching carousel and assistants. A Defensive Coordinator like Mike Strong or Bud Foster should lead to big improvements to appropriate player skills in the offseason (see walk-on Cody Grimm, now in the NFL).

Get rid of actual ratings and have scouts or coaches give their opinion on how good a player is and how well he fits in the program.

Real programs dont have overall ratings which determine who starts and plays

Oh I forgot the most must have feature for next year has to be each team recruits for their coaches specific system. That is a must. So if the number one qb is a scrambler but the number 2 qb is pocket passer then a pro style team will take the pocket passer.

Same with defensive ends and outside linebackers and the 3-4 4-3 defenses. If they add this, this alone would be enough.

What I want most of all is recruiting / progression to match real life. First of all, some smaller schools CAN land 5 star prospects in real life. Michigan State, Cal, South Carolina, and NC State all signed a 5 star guy this past year. Southern Miss got one a couple of years back too. It's not even worth trying to go after those guys this year with a lower school (at least from what I've seen). The top prospects should at least consider some lower schools and give you a shot at getting them.

There should be diamonds in the rough and busts every year. Some 5 stars should come in low, or maybe come in with a decent rating, and then just not progress much. There should be players who come in with lower ratings and then make massive jumps (like 10+ points) in the offseason. Some players just take a while to get it. With the way the system is now, you'll never see a 3 star player turn into a complete stud by his second year, like Mark Ingram or Greg Jones. Maybe have certain players have a big jump one year, and then slowly progress after that, as they've reached their potential.


Aside from all that, I'd like larger rosters, medical redshirts, custom playbooks, and the ability to add teams to a conference without having to remove them. Also, conference realignment being possible later in the dynasty would be nice.

that will never happen the game runs on ratings, thats how players perform.

recruiting pitch ratings need to be overhauled. Im sorry but Norman OK is not a better campus than San Diego. Same with Alabama and other schools who are good. Just cause they are good doesnt mean its a good campus lifestyle. Like I said no one would pick Norman OK to live over SD, that needs to be hauled because. Same with coach experience and prestige, How is Rich Rod so high with prestige or rick Neuheisal? are you kidding me? Yet mike riley is rated lower than both of them.

summer practice scrimmages to help your players kinda like a spring game but just play a set # of plays like 40 play scrimmage and play 20 on offense and 20 on d.
