Me and a buddy are 20 years into a majority simmed online dynasty. The polls are awful. I think it has a lot to do with the discrepancy in recruiting. There are about 5-7 teams who are just unbeatable and are always at the top of the polls. I am at Texas and I have lost 2 games in 8 years there. I have played in 2, yes, just 2 national championships. I have been screwed 4 other times from even having a shot at playing in the big game. And I assure you, it is not due to scheduling. I make all my out of conference games against top 15 ranked opponents, plus there are usually at least 2-3 within my conference. So the schedule isn't an issue, yet I always get screwed. It is typically by Alabama, who is invincible, but plays on average 2-3 ranked opponents a year as opposed to my 6-7. So clearly, poll logic is completely messed up.

In my OD with two other guys, we have had a couple of seasons where the loser of one of the games ends up going to the better bowl because they end up ranked higher at some point in the season...Typically because we all end up with the same record...Crazy...

In my first year, auburn went 10-1, lead the sec and wasn't even RANKED. There were a couple of 2 and even 3 loss teams ahead of them. How? I don't know
