Glitch or not?

I was redshirting my qb last season but needed a solid backup so I broke his redshirt and started playing him....he jumped +4 overall in one week...and I thought it was some kind of glitch because i broke his redshirt. I tried doing another player like this just to see what was up. But, it didnt happen again. I had never seen a player, especially a true freshman jump +4 in one week. All Timesavers are off in this league. It was cool to see.
