are you guys sure? I just loaded up my game, I only have 1 RDE and made him into a LDE just to see, now i have zero listed.

I don't think RDE vs LDE matters it's just DEs overall and yes I'm sure because I again have some random freshman FB on my team that I didn't recruit and I'm not allowed to cut

NCAA Football should have 85 man rosters.

What he is referring to is in the rosters before starting a franchise/dynasty. On College you have to maintain position #'s through recruiting after your first year but prior to beginning you could have 69 punters and 0 everywhere else. In Madden you can't release an OLB if it drops below your minimum, or change positions.

Just recruit a TE and change him to a FB. He can still play at TE he's just listed at FB.

I really want a working fatigue system to make the larger roster necessary. As it is now depth isn't a concern at all.

Overrecruiting and no peanlty to cutting players is the problem.If you cut a player you should lose the scholarship.So if you cut a freshman you'll lose that scholarship for 4 years.You cut a SO 3, JR are SR you'll lose it for 2.But if you kick somebody off the team for discpline matters you get the scholarship back.If they only give you 85 scholarships You still see the same problems.

Also like somebody in this thread hit on the head before,that 5* players will go to a team and get no playing time for 4 years.That 5* should transfer to a other school so he can get playing time.Player morale should be in the game.(Like CH2k8)

but that's not really any different than recruiting a true FB. It's easier just ignoring the position all together
