Is the patch already out for the game now to be downloaded.

I would think if we can edit anything then we would be able to edit Height, Weight, Class and such.

Re: How will you use player editing in dynasty?

Once the "key" attributes are found for making dual-threat QBs act as such, I will make sure to edit all dual-thread QBs to the levels at which they scramble effectively!

A few others:

+ Improve guys who have HUGE seasons but mediocre ratings.
+ Randomly make a few underclassmen who didn't play jump up in ratings for other teams.
+ Make kickers decent for most teams
+ Make sure teams have enough people at certain positions to make depth charts realistic
+ Edit height/weight properly
+ If possible: make sure medical redshirts take place when they should! I really hope we can edit class. If they have those stud JUCO players I might edit a few of the top guys to true freshmen, just to add a few young stars into the mix.

The edit will be good for option teams and the CPU if the recruiting goes haywire. Really want to see what the running game does out of the box. If not up to par, I will fix it in dynasty. Also will lower the ratings for top 25 teams as I see fit so the numbers don't jump (EA did a better job this year spreading numbers, but I have seen sometimes having players 8 to 10 points higher than they should be.

It seems like reigning in progression for some players/teams may be the number one use for player editing.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

I'm seriously considering editing in my entire current team from '11, including my latest recruiting class.(15 years deep) Anyone else considering this? It seems that full editing could really give you the opportunity to continue your dynasty forever.

Re: How will you use player editing in dynasty?

I'll use it to:

* Adjust recruiting issues( Ex. Kicker's terrible legs and 5'6 POWER backs)
* Adjust breakthrough guys IRL( Ex. Cam Newton last year)
* Make a few "breakthrough" guys of my own after two or three seasons
* Adjust any recruiting personal issues (if GT and Oregon have 50 speed QBs I'll fix that).
* Make a few busts of my own after a few seasons
* Rename the recruits after real guys
* Adjust any ratings for guys who had huge seasons and only improved 2 or 3 points
* Adjust ratings for guys who were extremely highly rated and had really bad seasons(doesn't happen much, but I've seen it).

And thats all I can think of. I'm pumped for this feature though, it will add tons of replay value to due added realism in Dynasty Mode.

That's a pretty cool idea. Are you going to start in Year 1 or simulate the first 14 years?
