Connection Failed! Cannot Connect to EA Servers

I got the online pass thru on day 1, but last night and all day today, I've been having difficulty with it. If I don't remember to hit the x button when it first tries to connect to the servers, it will just sit on the loading screen while that Ben Haumiller thing about the Making of NCAA 12 and the ESPN Radio updates play intermittently.

If I try to connect online later, or go to roster share and connect that way, the same thing happens, at the point where it says something like "Getting Online Tuning Updates"

I'm on PS3, and I have tried resetting my router.

I've got the same problem. I can't connect to the EA servers with my main account, but my other accounts can just fine. Cleared my cache and that did nothing. Not sure what to do now other than bitch to EA about it.

Yeah this is the issue, reset your console to 1/1/1970 and restart it, then have it auto update the date and time and it should resolve it. I had this issue last year and that fixed it for me.

Ps3 wont let me go past year 2000. Was this tip for xbox? Is it any different for Ps3?

Mine was 360 but I've heard that ps3 is same issue. Try it with the earliest date you can and then turn it off, back on, update time/date automatically and then turn off, back on and reconnect and see if that fixes you up......

I've had this issue. I attributed it to the ****ty *** internet connection I have.

I'll go try this changing the date to as early as it will let me thing, then I'll report back. PS3, btw.

EDIT: No go. Changed the date back to 1/1/2000 and it still wouldn't log me in.

Yep I have had trouble all day ive been kicked off 4 times today and my connection is at full strenght ive even played like 5 games of call of duty no problem online
