Had it not been for Oklahoma's costly penalties, they'd likely be returning home back-to-back national champions. However, a costly roughing the passer penalty with 7 seconds left to go put Notre Dame into field goal position with a tie game. Despite the attempts to ice Brindza, he would not be denied as he nailed the 41 yard field goal to win the game, and the national championship.

See, I'm a Purdue fan, but I can respect Notre Dame lol. Respecting Indiana University? There's as much of a chance for that as there is for a squirrel to live underwater in a suit that keeps out water... so, kudos to you Mr. Coach-of-Virtual Notre Dame lol.

Re: *The Official Share Your Dynasty News Thread*

Alright, this could be a scary recruiting year, luckily I'm only in need of 1 QB to fill my positions, but remember, I'm letting the AI do all recruiting for me this year. Wish me luck.

Here's what Brian Kelly has come up with for Notre Dame's 2014 campaign:
Week 1: #25 Troy
Week 2: #7 Stanford
Week 3: Michigan
Week 4: @ Michigan State
Week 5: @ #10 Ohio State
Week 6: Purdue
Week 7: #20 Georgia Tech
Week 8: Indiana
Week 9: Bye
Week 10: @ Navy
Week 11: @ Army
Week 12: Bye
Week 13: @ USC
Week 14: @ Boston College
Week 15: Bye

This gives an estimated difficulty of an A-, but Kelly is confident that the Irish stand a good chance of running the tables once again. I'm also going to change up my write-ups a little bit and kind of copy dxdude. I'm gonna be posting 3 games at a time now so that I'm not cluttering this thread.

See you guys after week 3!

Haha thanks. My games against Purdue have been some of my toughest too, they did really good 1 year in the Big 10 where they finished like 4th, but they had a pretty bad year in 2013. Unfortunately Pudue comes into 2014 as a C+ on offense and defense, but a B on Special Teams. On another bad note they play Iowa, Ohio State, Wisconsin, and Penn State this year, plus my Irish. All ranked teams.

They should get at least 5 easy wins on the season, and if they can pull 1 upset or win a tough battle against Illinois they could go bowling. I'll soften Indiana up for their last game

Hahaha! At least in the games I watched when I coached them, they pulled some upsets. I HAD changed their style though, but who knows. Speaking of Illinois, how do they end up becoming a good team? I didn't see Scheelhase as a "great" quarterback, but maybe it's their running game? When I coached at Purdue, they had hired Army's OC, but they never ran the flexbone, they just ran the ball...A LOT.

But yeah, soften up Indiana for my Boilers, and take it easy on them a little bit

Illinois had a great 2012 campaign in my game taking 3rd in the Big 10, but despite being ranked #20 or 22 to start last season, they fell on their face. Right now i'm giving Troy a rude awakening to being a BCS school now

This is the first season my team has been ranked better then an A- anywhere and I'm A+ across the board so IDK if there will be going easy on anyone in route to what could be back to back national championships. Wonder if I'll get another contract after this year, I had one offered to me in 2011, and then another in 2012. 3 new contracts in a row maybe?
