It's definitely a problem. Every time I reload it's 75% HB, WR, ATH.

Get this fixed and coach progression fixed and we'll have a solid Dynasty mode.

Once again, this is largely indicative of the recruiting class.

Manny, I've noticed that too but i believe it's actually supposed to be like that. WR's, HB's, and ATH's are generally the most highly sought after recruits. It does not mean that they are going to be the highest overall rated players on a depth chart though. For example, a WR with an OVR rating (on the depth chart) of 80 will be ranked much higher on the recruiting list than a Fullback with an OVR rating of 80.
I once recruited a 3 star guard (in NCAA 2011) who came in as a FRESHMAN with an OVR of 88.

There are tons of "Gems" in every recruiting class. It is common for lower-ranked prospects to have higher OVR ratings than higher-ranked prospects and vice versa. The whole point of the recruiting rankings and SPARQ bologna is so it is realistic. A large part of that realism is to make sure that the rankings are not 100% reliable and that there are going to be 5 star recruits that will stink and 3 star recruits that will be great...

Could very well be a "bug" though... i guess we'll find out

According to Rivals, I have only counted 6 QBs in the last 5 years rated as 5-stars, and none since 2009. This lack of talent sucks, but is actually a pretty realistic situation:

1. Blaine Gabber - Mizzou (2008)
2. Dayne Crist - Notre Dame (2008)
3. Terrelle Pryor - Ohio St (2008)
4. Russell Shepard - LSU (2009)
5. Matt Barkley - USC (2009)
6. Garrett Gilbert - Texas (2009), spit!

On the flipside you could use Scout's rankings and they have multiple 5 star QBs every year. Also, the last three #1 players have been non-skill position guys in Arik Armstead (OT), Jadeveon Clowney (DE), and Seantrel Henderson (OT).

The people that understand this know the presentation because of SPARQ ratings favor WR, RB and ATH. Hes saying that shouldnt be the case even if you still have OVR rated OL or QB that end up being 80s.

Not to be a stickler, but isn't this virtually the exact same thread as the SPARQ thread?
