Yeah it's in the 3-3-5 base and go to nickel i think it is wherever the 1-5-5 is and it is the second one down. It takes out the DT and only has the 2 DEs in a three point stance.

Yeah that's the worst. Especially when you try to run across the field before the play starts, the CPU snaps it right before you get there there, then the receiver runs a slant to the side of the field that you were originally on. Instant first down. Probably a touchdown.

These defenses make me HATE zone blocking. They double team instead of getting up field.

Yea I got tired of players not getting to the second level so I turned the blocking sliders up. The downside though is that now there are twice as many pancakes.

I wish there was a blocking power slider so I could have smarter blockers without turning all of them into the incredible hulk.

both defense are so easy to beat its not even funny, the 1-5-5 you just send more than 1 reciver on a streak and chuck away they cant keep up because they are too close to the line especially to the outside...the 4-2-5 you can beat down the seams all day long.

That is good to know, so it can be beaten. I mostly only play against the CPU so it obviously doesn't have the ingenuity of you, so thanks for letting me before I get torched in a game against my buddies.

On a sidenote, the vertical seam with a slot or number 4 reciever will generally beat any defense. I can run a 4 vert out of just about any formation and hit either the TE or 4 reciever all day long once he gets just past the linebacker, unless they are doing the steroid jump in which case every now and again I throw to early and they swat it down like the hulk.
