Lets keep this about LT/L2 and lets not get into the believer vs. non-believer issue (as that will likely get this thread closed)

Lets end that discussion with this; there will be some people who believe and some who don't and neither person is wrong, until proven otherwise.

You guys need to understand that people DO communicate at Tiburon-- Justin works right next to the dev team--the office is not some giant corporate building where people are segregated from one another.

seems to work best on
1. go routes
2. fades
3. deep post/flag
4. "late-in-route" drags and slants*

seems to be a bad idea on
1. Ins/Outs
2. drags and slants while still in the middle of the field
3. everything else

It seems to be a precision/ spectacular catch modifier rather than a "put more loft" on the ball. rather than LS up being lead the WR further out by 4 yards(for example), it seems LT + LS up is lead the WR slightly but really just drop it on his helmet.

*for "late-in-route" Drags, LS left would(normally) lead the WR running a drag left with a pass further away from the linebacker. LT + LS left seems to try and hit the WR just off his far shoulder. so throwing this over the line while the LB is close is dangerous but doing it when the WR has crossed the opposite hash and the LB is now a step behind seems to hit the WR in stride without forcing him to adjust or "reach" since it is off his shoulder. the only problem is that you really have to hang in the pocket for an extended period of time which can be dangerous.

EA peeps are not very happy with you. You just uncovered next years brand new feature " The All New Total Control Finesse Passing System" for NCAA13.
Thanks !

Re: Important: L2/LT Button

LT held down while throwing the quick slant out with no LS adjustment.

Maybe vertical was the wrong word there, but you cant tell me that jump looked natural in that video. It looked like someone launched him up and out. He went him turning his feet and body to try to turn and run with the receiver to an instant jump that launched him to full vertical and landed 6 yards from where he started. I know its a video game, but its those unnatural looking moments that bring down the look of this game.

Anyways, I think that video is a pretty good example of how the LT/L2 thing works, if he had thrown a bullet, the defender woulda knocked it down or intercepted it, but if he had lobbed it, it woulda been a sideline catch (or out), but that shows that he was able to make a precision pass that had enough height to get over the defender without throwing a bomb out of bounds.
