Whats the deal with hit stick and strip ball on "aggressive"?

OK I'm clueless as to whats going on here.

When you change settings to "aggressive" on hit stick and strip ball, some teams are turned into NFL defenses and others are worse than tackling dummies.

I simmed games with all the top 10 teams against each other with these settings on aggressive.

Florida State forced 6 fumbles in a game. Other teams like LSU forced zero fumbles and gave up 150 yards rushing against a common top 10 opponent.

Whats the deal? Why are some teams super strong on aggressive and others suck?

There is no reason why. Everyone knows NCAA doesn't base this game off of tendencies/stats/ratings/etc. It's just a random thing happening. That's EA for you.

What sort of results were you expecting? That setting big hits and strip ball to aggressive would yield the exact same result for every team in every game? I don't get what you're asking here.

What happened to the risk/reward part of this.
last year if you set it to aggressive, you would at least see more face masks and broken tackles.
But this year, i have yet to see a face mask or broken tackle when it is set to aggressive.

I tested this earlier, and it's still there for me.

what mode did you test it in. Also what are your slider on for facemask?
In both ODs i am in, there does not seem to be any risk

Re: Whats the deal with hit stick and strip ball on "aggressive"?

seems to be no risk.. ive played against a buddy of mines in an OD and he sets them to aggressive, my HB fumbled 5 times each game, both times we played.

I think its overly effective. But setting your Offensive running (or whatever its called) to Conservative seem to help counter it.

We don't allow gameplanning in our OD for the very reason that there is not sufficient risk for the reward. We could all easily get 5+ fumbles a game with barely any repercussions so we banned it.
