Maybe could've worded it different, but the foundation of his statement is dead on.

With that, would it be too much to ask for the Mods to put their heads together to come up with a better way of allowing the Members of this site to discuss this game when vids ect are released so that issues seen/found in those vids etc might be able to be addressed before/around release?

I get the whole cleaning up the site thing, but feel that having what can be said/how it can be said threads (for some reason pertaining to Madden/NCAA only) really takes away from the purpose of this site.

I understand there are some knuckleheads that just look to complain, but even you got to admit that NCAA 13 will need to be looked at much closer after after all the issues across the board in NCAA '12.

Skillz, Playmaker and others look to break down the info/ game to get it to a more realistic manner with the current set-up EA uses, but current manner of doing Pre-release threads about NCAA may prevent possible suggestions/fixes the devs could do/tune before Demo and/or Game is released.

Just wondering as there is alot of skeptism and doubt after NCAA 12.

Thanks to all you guys that work to make this the best site.

just last night, hanging around Tradition Sports, I showed photos of an issue that's persisted for the last 3 dev cycles. And a poster comes on there and gives some lame excuse why the problem persists and then highlights it with: "well, the EA game changers and devs are well aware of it, but is it important enuff to fix?" So you're aware that 3 years ago, the problem didnt exist? And you're admitting that you've chosen NOT to fix it, even tho it's wrong? And just the way he worded it made it seem like "we know about the problem, stop talking about it". I shouldn't have to talk about it because it should never have been broken.

It's that type of attitude we're a little agitated with. The blatant disregard for issues that are apparent immediately. Flaws that can be highlighted with only 4 or 5 minutes of play. Not long term Dynasty problems. Or glitches that can only be replicated with a specific set of events. Things that you couldn't miss on release day.

That type of stuff always happens. You will always get a smart butt post a smart butt remark about who cares, it isn't that important. Hell it is 100 times worse on EA Sports own forums, which is why I refuse to post on there.

It was that way when I wanted scrambling QBs, people would post who cares, it isn't important, go out and play the real thing. Same thing with the roster glitch last summer, people said who cares.

Got to the point now, that as long as it doesn't effect online game play, too many people have that who cares, it isn't important attitude. As though playing online is the CURE ALL for all the things that don't work properly in this game series.

And the whole well the Game Changers and developers are aware of it line that people love to throw out way too often on internet websites always annoyed the hell out of me.

Because from my stand point, if you are aware of it, but it hasn't been fixed going on 3 years now, then somebody needs to be kicked out of the Game Changers program and some developers need to be fired or demoted.

The program suppose to have been to enhance the series and make it better, not promote the series. They need to start living up to their name and Change the Game. I mean seriously......all this feed back they been getting for the past few years now, this series should be at MLB The Show status by now.

Game Changers been involved in this series since NCAA 10. So essentially they worked on 10, 11, 12 and now 13.

How much different is 10 from 12 ? Other then coach mode, coach carousel and the broadcast cam in coach mode for 12, not much different.

Blocking is still the same.

WR/DB interaction still the same.

OL/DL interaction is still the same.

Player mirroring is still there.

Tackles still look the same, hell they actually took away some tackle animations.

CPU Ball carrier vision logic has actually gotten worse over the years since they started the program.

Special teams is still the same.

No pass interference being called, still the same.

So I ask.......where is the enhancement this program allegedly brings to the series ? Dead serious. You could put up 3 tv sets side by side and say hey tell me which one is 10, 11, 12. You can't tell the difference from looking at them game play wise.

Animation and game play is the same, same problems is still in all of them. Stuff just don't add up here. In 3 years time and we still seeing the same issues ?

On one hand we hear they are aware......but on the other hand it was 3 years ago when they became aware. So it is about time they move from being aware to actually REACTING to it.

Perception is everything. And my perception is this series been stuck in 2009. They haven't moved forward only sideways with colored gloves, flying birds and band locations.

I kept it short and sweet for a reason, because I'm seething with frustration at this game and the hype machine. I was fine until that post that said "They listened.... #NCAA13" Then it made me remember all of the individual punches to the gut that I have gotten over the course of the past six months (has it really only been that long?)

1. I couldn't start an online dynasty with my buddies, not because of the transfer failed problem but because his disc is literally unplayable as it froze up every other game from the moment he got the game.
2. Stadium Ambiance - We were drilled for a month on the improvements to the sound quality to NCAA12 only to find a drone, uniformly quiet crowd whether you're a MAC school or Ohio State. Squiggly lines on my play art don't intimidate me like they used to I guess.
3. The little things - No changes to Teambuilder (my personal favorite addition to any game ever, just look at my gamertag, MRudy6, and you'll see the effort I've put in with it), a limit on movement of teams in dynasty, and a Road to Glory attempt that has the same broken gameplay as the year before)

I just can't do the hype machine anymore. I may boycott the NCAA section of OS from May to July so that I don't fall victim again.

::Rant concluded, hopefully more constructive than before::

Idea to improve the game: New uniform templates for Teambuilder, the 2008-2009 jersey styles have officially gone extinct, time for some new blood...

Re: NCAA 13: Updates from Community Day

Here's my problem:

When the NCAA 12 demo came out, I really had fun with it. I liked what I saw, how the game played, etc. Then retail comes out, and it did NOT play the same. The warping, the lightning reflexes by linebackers, the list goes on. I grew so frustrated with the game that I promptly traded it in for Madden.

So even if I scrutinize the NCAA13 demo, I could still be screwed.

It is like that every year though. The demo plays one way, then the retail plays completely different. It is like I said many times before, around this time of the year, the build be very good. Then over the next 6 months they add more and more water to the build that by the time the retail version come out, it be completely different.

On one hand they want to take out all the online exploits, but on the other hand, the CPU suffers because of it.

Perfect example:

Too many people complained about people running with a fast QB online. So what did EA do ? They made the defense react to runs way too fast and allowed defenders to turn on a dime.

Another example:

People complained that WR screens and HB screens were money plays online. Now we have terrible blocking on screen plays.

Signature running/throwing styles?

Speed backs are quick and shift?

Power backs lower their shoulders and grind out yards?

QB's roll out and try to keep the play alive by THROWING?

No more cutting on a dime? (It drives me crazy when people playing down the field on a punt return turn on a dime going full speed.
