I thinking of doing a 1987 style realignment.

Re: YOUR plans for Conference Re-Alignment

The inability to kill off old conference rivalries is killing the setup I was trying.

Is there a website where you found that map (minus the blue lines), or did you create it yourself?

I did a hand-drawn map of the US when I was dreaming up custom conference alignments last year, but I wasn't detailed enough to map out the exact locations of each school within each state. That template map would've been such a time-saver if I'd had something like that.

Here is one I found online although its from last year so the new schools arent on it. Should be attached I hope.

My Take on the Whole Shebang

Kind of used the SHSMoss one as a base, but made some tweaks of my own.

BIG NORTH (BIG TEN)

East
CMU, EMU, Michigan, Michigan St., Northwestern, WMU

West
Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Iowa St., NIU, Illinois

CONFERENCE USA

East
Marshall, Kentucky, Louisville, Tennessee, MTSU, Vandy

West
Mizzou, Arkansas, AK ST, Memphis, WKU, Tulsa

MAC

North
Toledo, BG, Akron, Kent St., Notre Dame, Purdue

South
Ohio, Ohio St., Cincinnati, Miami (OH), Indiana, Ball St.

MWC

North
Colorado, Colorado St., UNLV, Nebraska, Kansas, KSU

South
Arizona, Arizona St., New Mexico, New Mexico St., Oklahoma, OSU

BIG WEST (PAC 12)

North
Oregon, Oregon St. Washington, WSU, Idaho, Boise

South
Utah, Utah St., BYU, Nevada, Hawaii, Wyoming

CALIFORNIA LEAGUE (WAC)

Cal, Stanford, SJSU, Fresno, UCLA, USC

SEC

FLORIDA LEAGUE (SUNBELT)

Changed up a few championship game locations, SEC is only conference with protected rivals, and all conferences start conf games in week 5

Re: YOUR plans for Conference Re-Alignment

Ok....... I have 3 conferences setup with how I want to run my dynasty. I have all Texas teams in a conference, an Ohio vs. Michigan conference, and a California vs. Florida conference. Along with the Service Academies being independent. My question to you guys is............ What to do with the other teams? Should I make it completely random or should I get it geographically as close as I can? Looking for some opinions or suggestions on how to get the rest of the teams into a conference. Thanks for the reply and look forward to reading everybodys thoughts.
