Oh how I wish the CPU kick and punt returners were more dynamic. Special teams needs a bump and has needed it for a while now. However, the punted ball bounces have a much better feel and variety now.

CPU is just not enough of a threat on offense. Hopefully this is due to varsity difficultly.

The new WR and DB animations when making a play on the ball makes a world of a difference. A LOT more variety that adds some drama. Especially on fades, deep balls, comebacks, curls and Hail Mary launches.

Props to the EA sound team. I love it. This combined with custom stadium sounds will be greatness.

CPU QB still gets sacked too much when running a HB slip screen. Ugh.

I will seriously play this all night long later.

The game is a bit better then 2012 but still far from a must buy. Right off the bat i saw two issues

Oregon (CPU) going no huddle down by a td and no time outs with a second left runs the ball and gets a first down so clock stops and will start when ball is set, well the Oregon qb spikes the ball which kills the second remaining instead of snapping and going back to pass.

Another thing is that I went on a long drive 10 plays and scored, kicked an onside and recovered. Threw a deep bomb for a td and it was called an 11 play drive. WTF?

The colors at least on 360 are way to saturated and night game in LSU looks like melted skittles plastered all over the field

Day game in USC much better but still way to saturated in colors makes it look real cartoonish and fake

Run game feels great but this is varsity level I am sure.

I feel the lack of RTP and extra love Madden is getting has hurt this years game as a whole

Not worth a day one purchase based on the demo at least

It's just so beautiful. I haven't scored on a post route in a while. PA pass with not a single person even near the receiver.

Here's some of my impressions:

I played USC/Oregon as Oregon.

Presentation:

The intro for the game looked the same, but I noticed subtle nuances. Seems the camera angle on the Tom Brady huddle was different. Coach and player voices were a cool addition. I liked Rece for the stretch. Crowd sounded good.

Doesn't matter because I always skip the intros.

Colors looked excellent. I don't know who is saying they looked washed out and faded because they look 100x better then 12. I popped 12 in after and USC's homes are dull. The ones in 13 look...correct. :what:

The crowd sounded good. When I threw a touchdown pass to my TE, they made an "awwww" sound which was cool to hear.

Game play: passing is on point. Couple passes I made that really stood out:

- Flanker was on a comeback route. When I pressed down on the stick and X, the WR didn't fall like in 12. He reached down for the ball and was able to make a move.

- FB was out in the flats looking left. I threw the ball press right on the stick and my fullback TURNED HIS HEAD AND LOOKED LEFT for the pass. I don't know if I've ever seen that in a game.

- I threw a pass to my Flanker who was cutting across the middle. I lofted the pass over the LB's head and completed the pass. The funny thing is that I gasped because I was anticipating him to jump like Lebron and pick the pass off. Instead it floated over him for a first down.

I was on the fence after the lack of updates yesterday but I enjoyed that game.

I can't wait to get balls deep in this demo.

Certainly good to see the super LB's being truly gone. I like how passing feels. It's not a huge improvement but I can see it being decent fun.

Looks like dirty unis are still not working very properly. White jerseys still look like they're fresh out of the wash at the end of the game.

I did see the Defensive End from KSTATE step for step on a post pattern vs a WR from Baylor.

Should never happen
