For me main thing that was awful about 12 was the transfer failed issues. Gameplay wise 12 was much better simply due to zone coverage and flats not being open all day. There was the tendency problem, as well. However, scrambling QB that didn't play to their correct tendency (in 12) still ran more than scrambling QBs in NCAA 11.
Plus 12 had this little thing called Coaching Carousel which made it a much deeper game than 11. Overall, I'd give the nod to 12 for being a deeper game with better gameplay.

yea i agree with that also, i think that the transfer issue really killed the game and its image. Thats why we are getting the $45 dollar option from amazon.

If all EA did every year was only adjust rosters,
I'd still get it, I'd even pay $100 for it.
However, if I were poor, broke & hungry I'd probably hold a differin' view.

It's $45 on Amazon, and that price is available to everyone so no one has to spend $60 on this game unless they choose to.

In comparison to other forms of entertainment, video games are very cheap - which is one of the main reason I play them.

Unless this game is severely broken this will be one of the best 'cost-per-use' decisions I make all year.

Re: Is NCAA 13 really worth $60?

I doubt any game is worth $60 these days. But major sports titles have the most replay values by far. I liked last year's game (even though their were some aspects that I wasn't happy with) enough to play about five seasons of an online dynasty. Much more play time than most games I buy.

The second point is that very few folks pay full retail. Or at least I assume they don't. I think Amazon has it for like $45 and Best Buy gives you a $20 GC for pre-ordering and another $10 for going online doing in store pick up. After tax I'm really only paying $35. oh yeah I traded NCAA 2012 in to BB a couple weeks ago for $16 so $19 for a year rental is a pretty solid deal.

I would put sports titles at #2 behind FPS games with great multiplayer.

I know people who have literally over 2 months of PLAY TIME in Call of Duty or Battlefield
