Plus, its stupid you get counted plus/minus for anything during the play, such as the first time I got a DE offsides and snapped, threw it deep knowing it was a free play, it was picked off, oh well, worth a shot. -100 points for interception, I thought thats dumb.
Now, also, if you throw a TD pass at the back of the end zone, the WR catches it going out of the back of the end zone, its not counted as points for a TD. So you lose some points there.

Its brutal how many steps they have in gaining coaches trust to call those amazing audibles. A lot of changes need to be made to this mode to fix it up.

I mean, the skill upgrades is just stupid. IMO, they should get rid of those, and have you still earn points, but instead of just upping your ratings, you use the points to be able to participate in a drill that will boost your rating depending on how well you perform in said drill. Say, spend 4,000 points to enter an accuracy/throwing power drill where you hit targets. Essentially like the old Madden drills they used to have.
Quoted for truth, everything you said I agree with.

While playing road to glory when I first started I to did the exact same thing with getting the opposing DE offside and figured it was a free play just to be docked points because I threw an interception, no one was this mode thoroughly tested to the max that it should of been.

imo the reaction time does more harm than good. not being about to strafe makes playing corner so frustrating.
Exactly! That is not true to the position and how it should be graded. Another thing, is i have to bait the qaurterback to throw it in my direction way too often. Thats unrealistic because I dont know too many corners, heck any for that matter, that are good enough to bait the quarterback on a routine bases. The position is just too difficult in real life, to play that way.

Chuck Mongross Road to Glory

Chuck Mongross is a QB from the Houston Salukis (high school) that has led his team to the Texas State Finals. He is currently ranked 144 going into this huge game. He has some athletic receivers that have helped him come a long way. Mongross is a balanced QB that has a powerful arm and is known to squeeze in difficult passes. A ton of schools have recruited him and his decision will come shortly after the Texas State Championship Game. To keep you guys entertained, here is a brief interview that Chuck participated in.

Q: You obviously had a great season, but is the pressure any different now that you are deep into the playoffs?

A: Not really. I'm just a quarterback and at the end of the day I just have to go out there and do my job. A game is a game and I go out there each time to try and lead my team to victory.

Q: You are still a ways away from breaking the top 100 recruits in the nation and that may not happen. How much does that matter to you?

A: There is some tough competition out there. I just try to be the best player I can be to help my team win football games. The top 100 is just based off opinion. I'm confident about my football future and that is all I can say.

Q: There are a bunch of elite football programs that have been recruiting you. Where do you draw the line between playing time and playing for one of the nation's best football programs?

A: Well I think playing time is the most important because you want to prove the damage you can do as an individual. But it has always been my dream to play for one of college's best coaches. So I'll have to think hard and make the best decision for me and my family.

Q: What will you take with you looking back at how successful your high school career has been?

A: Pride and friends for sure. Pride for the winning ways of the Houston Salukis. Every player in the locker room has their mind set on one goal, and we are just one game away. I've also obviously developed some great friendships with some of these guys and I hope to carry them on through my college days.

Thank you! QB #15 Chuck Mongross of the Houston Salukis!

Anyone else having trouble with their player not responding to triangle when attempting a pick. I've played both FS and CB and every time I go for a pick my player does nothing.

Re: NCAA Football 13 Road to Glory Thread

It's been a week, and nobody's posted in the RTG thread in that time.. I guess nobody's is playing it now since we can't bring our player into Madden?

Anyway.. making a little ground with my MiLB .. I was getting 3-4 tackles a game .. just had one with 8 tackles.. what I don't understand is.. I get the same 40 recruiting points regardless.. even the game I had my only sack in 9 games I barely got anything out of it.. 405 points in 9 games and 2 stars.. As a QB he's a 5 star HS athlete but only 72nd on the ESPNU rank with 2 games left.

Still can't get past a blocker when I'm supposed to blitz and couldn't really find any good info other than 'right stick' which has my guy stumbling around after the block instead of getting around.

Re: NCAA Football 13 Road to Glory Thread

In the middle of one BOGUS game in RTG.. My freshman QB at Michigan playing at OSU.. down 31-0 at halftime.. play calling pathetic, can't make changes to calls yet, only change directions.. had an OSU linebacker leap diagonal 5 yards away and pick off 2 passes on open receivers.. new tuner this week change something again to make the LB's pick off passes? Never had one picked off by a LB before
