Without tuner definitely better, seems smoother as well.

Yea, I just deleted it, and the game plays sooooo much better. I don't understand why they would "tune" out the line playing well. WTF.

Just looked at my stats from the last game and the defensive line played so much better across the board. The DTS actually got tackles, the DEs sacked the QB. WAYYYYYY better play out of the front four. Right now you might as well drop 11 guys into coverage, because they don't do a single thing.

Because they don't test what they make. Everything they make is a glitchfest.

Re: What is effect of Tuner--Good or bad ??

Hey guys--I am a very unskilled player and while I had enjoyed Heisman level I had given it up because even with my run sliders maxed to 100 I could not make gains against the CPU. Then, on a hunch I deleted the tuner and it made a tremendous difference. I still suck so I left my sliders maxed--but now the CPU was NOT blowing every play up in my backfield and I could get some decent gains with teams and runners that should; be effective. I was even able to do well at times on outside runs which had been death for me before. Try this out for yourself and let me know what you think. It seems to me that now--the CPU is much less "supercharged" --and even moves slower (I play on "very slow"). The difference for me has been dramatic. If you want to delete the tuner you can do so by the game's main menu--just look under "settings" -go all the way to the right and in the section that gives you the option to save or delete the tuner is one of the options.

Hope this helps some of you who have been frustrated trying to run against the Heisman CPU!

Why play on Heisman level if you are a very unskilled player ? Peer pressure ? Wanted to fit in ? I never understood why people do this. Play at your skill level.

Actually this year I had found Heisman to be much more playable for me...except in the aforementioned problem with running. I had also found the Heisman level more enjoyable than AA (my normal level) because the CPU option was so much more effective. But now with the Human running game more manageable, I am hoping that Heisman can be my level . But thanks for pointing out what certainly could seem like an inconsistency and for your concern about peer pressure.
