Are the impact players just randomly selected during Dynasty mode? I lost a Senior impact player, and I started next season with 2. Anyhow, it gave me a 3rd impact player now in week 5. But this guy definitely didn't deserve the impact star. So is it just random, and is there any way to sway or change it before hand?

completely random, whoever they want to give it to except (o-lineman, te, d-lineman, kickers/punters) will have it. User's used to be able to pick in 2006.
Should be tied to production but it's not.Just always a skill position. goodluck

It seemed like in 12 I found a way to assign it, like during the preseason time when u set up recruiting and all. Thru player management. I might be wrong. I may be thinking of team captains in Madden. Lol.
