Re: Best gem ever?

Holy Crap! I just added this Tackle to my recruiting list after several 4's and 5's signed elsewhere...

Re: Best gem ever?

I play on Heisman difficulty, but recruit at Freshman, because I want to be able to land whoever I want lmao

I haven't landed any really big gems because I generally don't go digging thru 1-2 star players. I have gotten several +5 and +7 gem recruits each season.

I did recruit two players, who while not gems, are pretty much complete steals: I landed a 52 overall OLB from D.C. after I saw he had 90 speed. I also landed like a 2-3 WR who could not catch whatsoever after scouting showed he had 90 speed and 91 carrying(Highest on my team!); I then moved him to runningback and redshirted him.

What letter grade was his power and accuracy before scouting?

Re: Best gem ever?

Wow! Awesome! Most I had ever seen before was +14; 3 star DT went from 64 --> 78. Nice get!

Re: Best gem ever?

In the same recruiting class as that +16 OT, I also got a +10 (78 ovr) DT. Nice scouting by my staff!

Had a 5* C overall: 81, after scouted he turned out to be a 72, bust. I was OC at Kentucky so he was better than the OLinemen we had. Got him and moved him to LT cause the other one was a senior at 71. After the move he turned out to be a 78 at LT, and after his JR year he was a 92! It all depends on the needs of your team so if a bust can help you, get him!
