Re: Who said they were NOT going to buy NCAA 13 and followed thru?

I try to limit myself to buying sports games every other year (I did get '12, so was scheduled to pass on '13). Sometimes I cave, but while I was tempted a few times, I was able to hold out and did NOT purchase '13.

The passing trajectories sounded great, but too many unresolved issues that have frustrated me over the years: The CPU not being able to run the option, bad CPU play calling/time managment, money plays, etc. And in the demo I really hated that motion blur thing.

I am looking forward to '14, but not really all that confident that the things that are important to me will be addressed. I do not play online, but that is where EA's focus seems to be. So while campus show down will probably be enhanced and there will be a connected classmates features with tweets and all that stuff, the CPU still won't be able to run the option.

Didn't buy 11 or 13. Probably won't buy 14.

A shame since NCAA used to be THE game for me every year.

This guy... Considering the strange non-direction this game is going I think I will pass on NCAA 14 as well.

the game is not as bad as u guys perceive it too be. The game is great. U guys were soo soo spoiled by the last gen games that u set the bar so high its ridicoulous. I do agree that last gen was better but this game is not terrible.

It's not rediculous to say that after 7 years some of the horrible things like blocking and these glitches like the DB glitch shouldn't be happening. The fans shouldn't have to be told "wait until next year for it to be fixed." I've never seen any other game that is made to tell fans so sad it doesn't work wait till next time.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the freezing. If it weren't for this being football and freezing happening every year, the game wouldn't have lasted as long as it has. Credit that to the love of football.

Re: Who said they were NOT going to buy NCAA 13 and followed thru?

I actually enjoyed this year's game, but to do it I had to really make an effort to not compare it to real football. I don't think anyone can deny that EA football is a very poor representation of the sport. Line interaction, ball carrier logic among other things is severely flawed. Not to mention the constant glitches and sliders that have been broken for a few years.

After watching Texas A&M and Georgia's bowl games and seeing how their QBs played there was no way I could go back and play this game. It's just too flawed. A lot of ppl want to make excuses for EA and call guys like me complainers and that's ok, but there is no excuse to be made when sports franchises like NBA 2K and The Show deliver excellence every year.
