Will NCAA 14 have new Revo Speed Masks?

Well how about facemask that have been part of the sport since the early 80s. That they don't even have in the game. In fact they took it out last year. (It was in but didnt even look right at all)

I mean this was the QB facemask of the 80s and early 90s. I won't be buying ncaa until they put it back in and have it correct.

I know the game is getting rid of the "normal" helmets slowly. But it's part of the history of the sport, why not have them in.

Impersonally hate the revo speed helmet. I think they are the ugliest football helmets ever made. So if I want to deck my player out in retro gear I should be able to.

I agree they should leave old equipment in the game as well. I really think its important for historic roster files. I would love for EA to bring back year specific teams like 98 Ohio State, 94 Colorado, any 80's Miami squad, etc. Without that old equipment you can't truly replicate those player models. In teambuilder it sucks because you can't edit equipment online, so you can go through and create an all time team, but half the players have revolution and DNA helmets, it just looks weird.

I also like this version of that QB mask, It was very popular through the late 80's and 90's. Marino wore this late in his career at Miami. Kordell Stewart wore it throughout his career as did many college QB's. Scott Frost (Nebraska) Bill Burke (mich St) and there are many more. Ryan Leaf....lol.

thats my favorite revo speed facemask. it is worn by tons of players. and hasnt been in the game yet. its been in the last 3 maddens i believe. inexcusable

I'm really big on gameplay and AI improvements taking precedence over anything else, but I am also a fan of equipment options. I hated the fact that U of Florida didn't have orange/ wht cleats and would love to see each team have optional colored accessories. I'd also love to see that REVO QB mask in game. It seemed almost every game I watched last season I saw a QB with it. I saw a lot of WRs and even a few LBs and DBs wearing it too. It's one of the most popular masks in the NFL and the NCAA.

I get what you're saying man. The people that work on gameplay are separate from the art guys. Most of the equipment and cosmetic stuff would seem so easy to fix. I'm with you on gameplay, but that takes serious work. We are just asking for something simple to make the game look more up to date is all.

It's basically the revo speed robot 2 facemask without the two vertical bars. I'm no computer whiz, but adding it just doesn't seem like it would be a major inconvenience.
