Its not like they don’t have more money, resources and licenses to give us everything we need yet EA football games lag far behind in areas essential to delivering a great experience. Graphics are good but a joke compared to where they should be, presentation is laughable compared to other genres. I could go on & on….
Good post.

I think -- THINK -- the engine for this gen was just garbage. Gameplay was always a disappointment to me, in both NCAA and Madden. Last gen I think people accepted the limitations of the hardware and were happy with how far it was pushed. This gen's gameplay never came close to realizing the potential of the systems.

Presentation for me has been a huge sore spot. Simply put, it has been laughable. The screens and menus on last gen were so much more -- I don't want to say "enjoyable" -- livable, unobjectionable, at the very least, NEUTRAL. Menu lag/stickiness has been atrocious this gen. And while all this seems to be pathetic nitpicking, I'll say this: to a Franchise guy like me who never plays online and rarely plays v. others, off-the-field presentation is CRUCIAL. It's where you spend at least half your time (probably more). The interface HAS to look good, HAS to be enjoyable, otherwise the entire game becomes more of a chore than a pleasure.

Being excited about a game doesn't mean they don't have a right to complain about issues if they arrise.
Jeesh.....

In all seriousness, for me, if the game is as good as the demo, you won't see my words in here.
Roadman I swear I hope I'm wrong lol. I'd much rather eat my words and play a nice college football game no question about it. Problem is I'm not seeing that big of a difference in the behavior and playcalling of the AI in the demo compared to last year. Last year the demo had issues that carried over to retail, so I'm very skeptical. I wanna be wrong though cos I love football and gaming as much as the rest of you guys.

I'm excited and mad! Mad because I won't be able to enjoy what seems to be a great game for more than one year. Excited for what hopefully will bring bigger and better things on the new systems.

I can admit to one thing, I haven't played a demo of any kind more than I have NCAA 14. I'm one of the biggest cridicts of NCAA, but can admit when they have done major improvements. This game may not be the greatest football game ever, but from what I've seen, I can justify dropping $60 on it.

Oh no! Thanks for the kind words though IF that was the case. I was meaning with the newer versions dropping next year (Xbox One, PS4) I couldn't stay on current gen.

Hopefully, the NCAA comes out strong on the next gen. If it does the backstep it did going 360, I will probably remove myself from the every year buyers of the game.

That being said, I am looking forward to NCAA 14.

Gotcha. Was trying to figure out why you wouldn't be able to play NCAA 14. Makes sense now.
