Right on. Thanks for the info.

One more question for anyone paying attention... does the coach progression speed affecting just the USER or all the AI coaches as well? (AI coaches do progress each year, right?)

For the past few years, in my mind I've "banked" my success from the past iterations of the game so I start with a middle-of-the-road team, not a 6* but not a 1*... too frustrating to play with 1* teams sometimes...

Anyways... I was hoping to maybe start as like a level 6-10 guy... not possible?

I would think you could enter the coaches file and edit the coach of whichever team you wanted to start with to be level X with attributes X and then choose a new dynasty using an existing coach

The problem with the coach progression and skill tree is simple. it should go up and down based on performance. You should drop from a level 10 to level 7 for example with a poor year and lose some skill points. That would make it realistic.

Agree. I miss the days when video games actually cared to present a challenge

Actually, You can't away experience from someone because they had a bad year ie. level 10 to level 7, you find ways to get much better than before.... that's like saying you had a bad year at your job so we are going to wipe your brain of what you have learned that past year so you can't learn from it and be able to improve yourself for the next year... That's how I look at it anyway... Glass half full... lol

After year 1 at Ga State on slowest I was about 4.75. This was after a 7-5 season with no bowl game.
