Not getting XP for your coach in Dynasty

So. We know what doesn't work.

1. Restarting (Mythical Patch)
2. Using Existing Coaches
3. Retiring and Re-Joining
4. Retire, rejoin, and advance.
5. About everything.


Keep hoping for a patch...........

I haven't booted up my Xbox in at least a month, maybe two. Sucks when I can't do what I paid $85 to do ($60 + $5 tax + $20 Power Pack add-on).

I've done it a few times with a user in my dynasty and it hasn't worked yet. He gets the new level but cannot get EXP.

One thing I haven't tried is if he takes over an existing coach, that was there at the start of the dynasty. Not taking over his own created coach after he retires and rejoins.

ok so i dont know if it was a stroke of luck or actually a potential fix to throw in the ring but last season we had a new user take over and when it came to "reset" your coaching tree pts i told him to just try it and see if something weird triggers it, well he started gaining xp after that. he was only a lvl 1 obviously because of no xp gain so he just switched 1 coach skill saved and backed out. after week 1 was played he gained xp for that game! like i said it couldve just been a weird instance or a potential weird fix

I am sorry, could you elaborate a little bit?

We just tried having guys accept contract extensions or new offers on their console. Didn't work, still no XP for them

its during the conference alignment week of off-season. you have the ability to "reset" your coaching tree you built and restructure it to how you see fit. we had a player do that even tho it was 1pt he moved week 1 he had xp getting earned

Allowing a reset is something that is turned on or off by the commish when the dynasty begins. I don't think it can be changed once the league gets started. Hope I'm wrong though.

Yeah, unfortunately, our league turned off the reset coach skills at the start and we cant enable them. poop
