If Georgia had beat Alabama in the 2011 SEC Title game, they'd have been 12-1. LSU still would've gone in over them at 11-1. It actually is the same exactly scenario... Just Georgia didn't win.

Well if makes you feel in better my bowl season is insane,

After virgina tech plays in the acc championship they lose to Ga tech, therefore Clemson passes over VA tech and gets the automatic bid along with Ga tech. In the polls va tech is ranked 6th and Clemson is 5th they have the same ammout of W and L.

Appalachian state is a one lost team ( lose to a terrible team and has pretty much played no name teams) is able to leap frog kentucky and 10-3 team for a bcs bid, Kentucky played and lost in the sec champ game to
Ole miss.

So at the end of the day we have
Orange Bowl #6 Clemson (9-3) vs #10UCLA (10-3)
Sugar bowl #12 Ole miss (10-3) vs #15 App State (12-1)
Rose bowl # 4 Ohio state (11-2) vs #7 Arizona st (11-2)
Fiesta bowl #17 Oklahoma (9-3) vs #11 Michigan st (10-2)
National Champ #1 Ga tech (13-0) vs #2 Norte Dame (11-1)

It was interesting that Indiana also was by passed as they were 11-2 but lost In the BIG12 champ but beat Michigan st earlier In the season.

Pretty much Kentucky, Indiana, and Va tech are all mad

The more broken the Bowl Season is the more realistic it actually is lol. Wish they added the playoffs as a option this year would have been sweet

Playing as SJSU on my 3rd season and the thing that hella got me wondering was Nebraska and Wisconsin played for the Big Ten championship and I was ranked #1 awaiting who I'll be playing against in the BCS game.(Ohio St. lost to Wisconsin earlier in the season.) Wisconsin won and was ranked 3rd. Ohio St. was ranked 2nd(reading this thread so far what happened to me seems a bit tame) even with the loss against the Badgers!!!!! It still befuddles me....
