Retro Uniforms 2014 style

I was watching a Youtube video of the Texas Longhorn/Arkansas game in 1969.
And it got me thinking... Wouldn't it be cool to have Retro Uniforms in NCAA?
I realize EA is no longer going to update, but maybe someone using this editing program, could do something. Or maybe using the team builder? Heck, Id love to see it for NCAA 12.


In the Texas game, it was their 50th Anniversary, so they had this neat designation on their helmets, just below the Longhorn symbol. Changed the whole look.
I think Virginia Tech was once known as VPI with gold helmets.
Alabama and Oklahoma had white Helmets at one time,
Hawaii with the rainbow logo. Solid color jersey.
Stanford was once the Indians with a tiny S.
LSU just had their number on the helmet.
Kentucky used to have the outline of the state on their helmet.
One of the things I noticed, looking back at these videos was the size of the numbers. Theyd take up the whole uniform on front and back.
And so on.

Doing some research...It looks like when NCAA reached their hundredth year in 1969, the NCAA must have had a standard emblem for all the teams.
A football in contrasting color with the number 100 imposed, This was placed on both sides of the helmet where the logo would be now. Exactly like the Jets logo in the NFL.
So the Alabama helmet looked a lot like the Kansas City Chiefs.
Another thing I saw was the Kansas uniform of 1961 looked exactly like the Houston Oilers of the seventies.
